On 24.09.2024 the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) is launching the “ Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 2.0 (TFYC 2.0)” . During this event , the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare inaugurate the Tobacco Cessation Centre (TCC) in medical institution through virtual mode in accordance with the operational guidelines Dr (Prof.) Balvir Singh, Principal ASMC, Firozabad and Dr Naveen Jain, Chief Medical Superintendent has inaugurated Tobacco Cessation Centre in Autonomous State Medical College, Firozabad along with MoHFW . On this occasion, Dr. Aru Shikha Singh (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry) gave detailed information about the services and functioning of the centre. This center will provide counseling and medical assistance six days a week to persons wishing to quit tobacco.
